Extending a Volume Set

To extend the capacity of an existing volume set, select the Extend a Volume Set option.

Note: The volume set MUST have been originally created with either the Automatic or Manual extensibility option in order to use this function.

·      Designate the Library Name in which the volume set resides, and input the number of surfaces you want the volume set extended by, in the Numbers of volumes to extend.

·      Select Ok to complete this operation.

Important Note: You must have unformatted media currently mounted within the library for this function to work correctly.
